Praise for MCN 2005

"I just wanted to send my very appreciative thanks to the MCN organizers for such a great conference!

It was my first MCN but will not be my last. I felt that there was not a moment that was wasted. Great sessions, fantastic keynotes. Thank you!"

Susan Sirovyak, Registrar

"I thought you and your team did a great job. This was my first conference, and I am amazed at how much I learned, and how many nice people I met.

I can’t imagine why a museum would not make every possible effort to attend this conference. It’s terrific. Thanks for all your efforts."

MCN 2006 | 34th Annual Conference
ACCESS TO ASSETS: Return on Investment
November 8-11, 2006
Pasadena, California
Conference Overview

Join us in Pasadena in November, where we'll examine technology developments against the beautiful backdrop of Old Pasadena. Pasadena is home to institutions such as the Huntington Library, Art Collections, and Gardens; the Norton Simon Museum, and NASA's California Institute of Technology Jet Propulsion Lab, and minutes away from the museums and cultural attractions of Los Angeles.

At MCN 2006 in Pasadena, we will explore ways we’ve found to demonstrate useful, successful methods for accessing technology; we’ll share our challenges and triumphs as we network together to creatively and effectively improve our bottom lines. We’ll discuss the many ways we’ve found to maximize the compelling value of our technology collateral, keeping in mind that the bottom line is not always financial, sometimes it’s intellectual, and sometimes, it’s just for the greater good.

Pasadena provides an oasis of calm immediately adjacent to Los Angeles, the second largest city in the United States. Los Angeles has always been a city chasing the next "big thing," a city of innovation and tremendous growth; a city that defines our popular culture. At this year's conference we'll explore technology innovations we use in our own work, ways to make our work more effective, and celebrate our colleagues' successes over the past year.
